The Future of High-Speed Rail
Now in its 15th year, Marketforce and the Adam Smith Institute's The Future of European Rail is firmly established as an industry leading event, providing senior stakeholders from across Europe with a platform to debate key strategic issues and assess the challenges facing the rail sector. Hot topics for 2010 include, capitalising on competition, opportunities for expansion throughout Europe, supporting growth and modal-shift through effective regulation, the challenge of infrastructure and how we can move toward a sustainable transport network.
2010 will also see a third day added to the conference, Marketforce and the ASI's inaugural The Future of High-Speed Rail. Bringing together senior level high-speed operators and Infrastructure Managers from across Europe, this dedicated day will explore the challenges of creating a trans-European network, managing large high-speed projects and will look at the question of whether high-speed can usher in a new golden age for the rail industry.
